My vision for A New Possibility coalesced in 2005, born of over two decades of unrelenting personal soul searching but more so a premonition of who I was still in the process of becoming. Having met Lorie nine years earlier, the crucible of our intimacy had initiated healing I knew I needed but hadn’t previously been ready to take on. Our years of collaboration in life and work have been my classroom. As the director of A New Possibility, I am committed to nurturing a culture of curiosity, kindness, and love, one where people support each other in becoming the best version of who they are meant to be so that together we create a more generous and just world.
Since 1990, the study and practice of astrology has been central to my own development and growth. Every day in working with clients, I am humbled by the awesome wisdom of the stars to help people know themselves more deeply, to discover meaning in the inevitable challenges of embodiment, and ultimately to actualize their potential in crafting a purposeful life.
My astrology sessions are profoundly relational. I am not so much interested in “reading” you as I am in partnering with you to discover the edges of your own growth. You can expect dialogue, deep listening, and searching questions informed by the symbols of your birth chart.
Many of my clients experience my work as a kind of spiritual direction, which is essentially a traditional practice of holding space for another person to explore their own soul and their relationship to the Divine, in whatever form that takes. Because this work is intimate, it often takes time, so in addition to offering a single natal birth chart session, I also offer a series of four sessions that allows for deeper work.
I also host an Alchemical Astrology Lab on our Mighty Network platform where members learn and share through an astrology book club, group discussion of our personal charts, and ongoing networking about astrological resources and current events. Membership in the Astrology Lab is also the best way to learn about classes and other opportunities for learning.
My primary training in astrology has been in Evolutionary Astrology through Steven Forrest’s Apprenticeship Program and in Psychological Astrology through the Mercury Internet School of Astrology (MISPA). I have also taken countless workshops and trainings online and at conferences … many of my most favorite teachers are represented at Astrology University. I completed a Contemplative Spiritual Direction Training program in 2019 through The Alcyon Center and continue to receive one-on-one mentoring. My greatest teachers are the clients I work with every day.
