Alchemical Healing is a transformative process that supports and encourages the client’s evolution to live their lives to the fullest, most realized manifestation. The alchemical process is an embobied journey in which the clinical encounter affects change and transformation at the level of consciousness, behavior as well as at the cellular level.
I can help you become more intimate with your sensations, feelings and aliveness. My work supports you to be as present as possible to your fullly-embodied self and to face your challenges as opportunities. I use acupuncture, zero-balancing, cranio-sacral therapy, QiGong therapy and healing touch. A large percentage of my clients are men.

Alchemical Healing is transformative medicine, not restorative medicine. It strives to guide you on your path to wholeness.
This means that it regards illness as an informative opportunity rather than something to conquer so you can get back to your old self. The goal is to guide you forward on your path to authentic wholeness.
When imbalances occur, as they always do, my goal is to catalyze the body’s innate ability to heal. The tools I use to stimulate this process include acupuncture, moxibustion, lifestyle counseling, Chinese herbal medicine, essential oils, flower essences, and inner sensing. I am a general practitioner that especially enjoys treating mental health concerns, women’s health, and digestive issues.
The engagement of an intentional process to address a wound to our psyche or emotional/spiritual body. Much like a physical wound healing, a container is established and the healing is done with tender inner work, and on its own time. The goal is to bring new possibilities of resiliency and strength, and to walk in the storm of life with a nourished sense of agency and ability.
I bring into our session the transformational tools of Spirit Point Acupuncture, flower essence therapy, somatic inner sensing guidance, imagination, and movement as medicine.
For me, Alchemical Healing is like the melting pot, in which my training & connection to animals, especially horses & dogs, as well as to the Tao, come together. When I treat an animal, it feels like I create an Alchemical Vessel, in which true transformation of emotions, trauma and physical patterns can happen. In a way, Alchemy to me is also “the magic in between” everything, like the whole herd joining the treated horse in his or her release.
I offer Alchemical Chinese Equine and Canine Massage, melting together Acupuncture, Acupressure, Tui Na Massage, Essential Oils, Flower Essences, Herbal Oils and Kinesiological Taping. Waving together Animal Communication and Alchemical Chinese Medicine, I look at your horse or dog from the psychosomatic view, which can e.g. help with behavioural issues, if your animal feels like being stuck in a situation/pattern or if nothing else seems to help.
Alchemical Healing is the cultivation of small devotional practices performed on a regular basis combined with curiosity and a willingness to engage with our emotional landscape to create profound transformative healing that ripples outward. Enhance not only our personal well-being and life’s trajectory but also the wider world.
I can help you remember your wholeness and innate worthiness. Utilizing the wisdom of Chinese medicine through the lens of the 5 Elements and the lessons within my book 5 Element Alchemy, combined with an in-depth understanding of western medicine, modern psychology, herbalism, clairvoyance and energy healing I curate a deeply sacred, transformational and encouraging environment for you achieve optimal wellness and a life of love and legacy.
Gwen “Cal” Millar has practiced Chinese medicine for 33 years and has been in the healing arts for 40 years, teaching Qigong, integrating Traditional, Classical and Five Element Asian Medicine with Daoist philosophy, Art and Nature Healing pathways. Yet, the true essence of her work is the Alchemy of Healing — the magic in this medicine that is hard to articulate, but deeply transformative.
Inspired by Alchemical practices, Cal weaves Chinese medicine energetics, sound healing, essential oils, creative cultivation tools, interactive nature experiences, feng shui, and seasonal support into her teachings. Through classes, workshops, and personalized Qigong prescriptions, she shares this transformative approach to guide deeper healing from the inside out.
A returning home and to wholeness. It is allowing deep listening, beyond duality. I find by leaning into what is present, small moments can create opportunities for deep healing.
I weave together my love for tea and alchemy through tea ceremony, Cha Dao. From my years of practice as an acupuncturist. I incorporate face reading, astrology, flower essences, and other alchemical tools into my conversations on the five elements and living a life oriented towards love, presence and transformation.
Alchemical healing is beautiful and simple, I equate it to Slow Food, it is Slow Medicine. We are going at the pace of the slowest part of you, witnessing and attending to your ecosystem and elemental make up to bring you back into alignment with Earth and your original nature. Together we steadily bring change, centering and rooting, weaving your self into the core of your being. Alchemical healing builds resilience so you can meet life.
My skills are diverse, I am a teacher of Creative Kinesiology UK, I hold a compassionate, deep & boundaried space so you can explore the uncharted places in yourself to witness the stories that your body is holding, including the ancestral ones. By releasing the charge held here means that we bring space to your system which then help you reweave your natural senses and sensitivities back into your nervous system to bring greater bandwidth.
Alchemical Healing is the practice of attuning ourselves to — ourSelves. The Self that isn’t in pain, is always connected to wisdom and truth, and that is already whole. When we live a worldly life, we start to align ourselves with the names, dates, places, roles, and experiences we hold so important. The attunement with Self becomes incoherent and fuzzy. Alchemy helps us recognize the Self and reminds us of who we are, and where we’re going.
I foster authenticity and coherence of self, using the tools of deep listening, active imagining, ceremony and ritual, the I Ching, Tea, Bodywork, Mindfulness, and Acupuncture. I practice one-on-one, in group settings, in person and virtually.
